Sarracenia rubra ssp.wherryi SR005

This Sarracenia ssp. looks very similar to S.rubra alabamensis but is shorter and a little more stocky and unlike the bright yellow pitchers of S.alabamensis this plant is more of an olive green in colour with dark red veining. Small dark red flowers appear in the Spring. Plants should be repotted in our COM1 compost in the spring.
