Sarracenia rubra ssp.gulfensis Yellow river N.Florida SR003

This tall growing ssp. is fairly vigorous and can do well in an unheated greenhouse, dark red flowers are produced in the Spring. Really good red colouration in this pitcherplant and strong dark purple veining, it is also clump forming and after a few years you can end up with a huge specimen with many traps and flowers. Plants need to be repotted in the spring with our COM1 compost.
