Sarracenia rubra ssp.alabamensis SR002

This Sarracenia ssp. produces two sets of pitchers, small thin pale green pitchers in the spring and large, bright yellow pitchers late in the season from July through to late September. Lovely deep red flowers appear in the Spring. This pitcher plant is now very rare in the wild mainly due to loss of habitat. These plants cannot be sent out off the EU due to CITES restrictions.
