DESCRIPTIONThis is a new hybrid for us here at Hampshire Carnivorous Plants and the first time we have had this hybrid available for sale it's a warm growing Mexican hybrid so will need a winter minimum temperature of around 6 C it has proved an easy grower for us and produces beautiful dark purple flowers, the leaves are tinged blue in colour, ideal indoors on an east or west windowsill or in a terrarium Sent out ready potted

Anna arrived towards the end of summer 2023 and single-handedly demolished a fungus gnat infestation that had spread to my 56 houseplants. Sticky traps and nematodes and endless hydrogen peroxide flushes were practically useless compared to this little beast of a plant. She spent all day every day of the next couple of months covered in gnats, shooting up multiple flowers at once, and reproducing so vigorously I couldn’t keep up with repotting. In her winter succulent phase, Anna has continued to clone herself. I barely do a thing to her: she sits atop a pile of fluval stratum in a well-draining nursery pot, which is then put in reverse osmosis water. When I notice the water running low, I refill. In winter, when she isn’t being fed, I give her a couple of sprays of food every couple of weeks. Couldn’t be easier.

Packaged really well, can't wait till it fully opens up a settles into its new home, a few of the leaves were a little bit damaged but nothing time won't heal. All in all very happy with this beautiful plant.
