Pitcher color: The lower pitcher is an exceptionally deep, velvety black-purple, almost charcoal black. The color is very uniform from the bulbous base to the neck, giving it a striking, matte appearance rather than a glossy finish.
* Peristome: The peristome is narrow to moderately wide with pronounced, tightly packed ribs. It remains nearly black, blending seamlessly into the pitcher body instead of contrasting with it.
