Open Weekend
This coming weekend - the 30th and 31st march - will be our first open weekend of the year. Plants are looking great at the moment, especially some of the drosera. Even plants in the bog garden are starting to move again, so it will be well worth a visit. Also on saturday and sunday, we will have a potting and dividing demostration at 2pm as well as a Q&A if you are have been worried about your plants over the winter months. This can be really helpful as a lot of plants are yet to come back into growth, and will help put your minds at rest if you have been worried about them.
We will have a huge range of plants available for sale of all genera. We will be open from 10am until 4pm both days - no need to book and all welcome. Refreshments also provided. Some parts of the nursery are very wet under foot, so it would be a good idea to bring your wellies. Hope to see you there.

Awards
We're so proud to have been awarded the Mrs F E Rivis Prize as well as the Williams Memorial Medal for our exhibit of carnivorous plants at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2023. The Mrs F E Revis Prize is provided from a fund presented in 1960 in commemoration of F E Revis with a view to encouraging excellence in cultivation. It is awarded to the garderner responsible for the cultivation of the exhibit for which the Williams Memorial Medal is awarded. The Williamms Memorial Medal was instituted in 1896 by the Trustees of the Williams Memorial Fund in commemoration of Benjamin Samuel Williams. It is awarded annually for a group of plants or cut blooms of one genus which shows excellence in cultivation, staged at one of the Society Show's during the year.
