BE4587 Nepenthes spectabilis x ampullaria

Nepenthes BE-4587 (spectabilis × ampullaria) is a classic example of what Borneo Exotics does best: combining two very different species to produce a plant that’s both striking and much easier to grow than either parent alone.

* Highland species from Sumatra (1400–2200 m)  
* Known for:
    * Tall, elegant pitchers
    * Strong striping / speckling
    * Flared, often toothed peristomes
* Needs cooler nights and stable conditions

Nepenthes ampullaria

* Widespread lowland species across SE Asia  
* Unique traits:
    * Produces clusters of squat, round pitchers
    * Often grows along the ground
* Loves warm, humid, shaded conditions
