DESCRIPTION
As detailed below, the male parent is a superb hand-selected seed-grown wavy-leaf form of N. maxima. As both the video and photos here show, many of the clones comprising this item (but not quite all) are exhibiting attractive wavy margins to their leaves.
History: First introduced in May 2021.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a seed-grown plant of the Bario form of N. veitchii with a green pitcher body and gold peristome, bearing our Collection ID# 1104. The male parent is a seed-grown plant of the wavy-leaf form of N. maxima from the same grex of seeds as BE-3907 and BE-3786 and has our Collection ID# 1032.
Source: A random selection from a very large number of different clones.
Climate: Highland. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will tolerate temperatures outside this range.
