BE4004 N. spathulata x singalana - assorted clones

The female parent is our best selected clone of N. spathulata, sold under BE-3175. The male parent is the Belirang form of Nepenthes singalana, selected from amongst the assorted clones sold under BE-3170.This cross has an unusual characteristic: As the photos show, it's handsome, but look at the last photo in the series, showing the lid and where the spur emerges from the back of the pitcher. This photo is from the only plant we have raised so far, so we aren't sure whether or not it's a consistent characteristic across all clones, but if so, it's notable and rather interesting.First introduced to cultivation in Dec 2019 through the wholesale auctions. It was added to the online shop for the first time in Nov 2020
