DESCRIPTIONThis impressive species never fails to attract attention with its heart-shaped leaves and enormous pitchers. It is a reliable grower, being adaptable to varying conditions.From a single clone out of microprop, donated by Singapore Botanic Gardens.
History: First introduced through the wholesale auctions in Nov 2019, only eight batches were ever offered. It was last auctioned in Dec 2021 and added to the shop for May 2022.
Description: This particular item was donated in-vitro by Singapore Botanic gardens, hence the ‘SBG’ in the title. Nothing else is known about its provenance. We had assumed that it was most likely a lowland form, but it grows well for us in our highland nurseries, so we have since designated it as an intermediate grower.
