BE3993 N. burbidgeae x (veitchii x lowii) – assorted clones

History: First introduced to cultivation through our wholesale auctions in Nov 2019 and added to our online shop in July 2020. It last sold out in Aug 2021 and returned for Feb 2022.

Description:  The female parent is the Pig Hill form of N. burbidgeae and is our clone #20 which has collection ID# 0024, selected from amongst the assorted clones sold under BE-3041. The male parent is a seed-raised clone of N. lowii x veitchii with collection ID# 0383, selected from those sold in the past under BE-3210.

Although a horticultural cross, all three component species grow in close proximity to each other in habitat, so this hybrid very probably existed naturally at some point in the past.
