BE3920 N. (veitchii x lowii) x platychila – assorted clones

The female parent Nepenthes veitchii x lowii, is a remarkable robust plant which produces huge pitchers The male parent is Nepenthes platychila, with its unrivalled wide  peristome. When we created this hybrid, we hoped that the intermediate and upper pitchers might be special and as the photos show, it’s turned out to be that way.

History: First introduced on our old PDF pricelist in April 2018, and added to the online shop in Dec 2020.

Origin: Horticultural

Climate: This is a highland item. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it will certainly tolerate temperatures well outside this range.
