  • DESCRIPTION
A small delicate highland species.  The pitchers sport bristles on the upper surface of the lids. From a single carefully selected clone out of microprop

Named for its characteristic bristles on the upper surface of the pitcher lids, this elegant species is one of the most diminutive. It’s unusual for a highland Nepenthes species, in that it’s often found growing in shaded areas on the forest floor.

This is not an easy species to grow well, but rewarding if conditions are right. This particular clone was selected over many years from amongst many for its relative ease of growth.

History: First introduced in June 2018

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen seed-raised parent plants.

Climate: This is a highland item. We grow it between about 26 deg. C (80 deg. F) in the daytime, down to 12 deg. C (54 deg. F) at night, although it may tolerate temperatures well outside this range.

Small plant ,Sent out ready potted
