The male parent is a very pretty seed-raised Bario form of the species with our collection ID # CID-0239. It has a pink pitcher body and candy striped peristome.

History: First introduced in Nov 2016.

Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics.

Source: A random selection from a very large number of different clones out of microprop.

This interesting hybrid probably existed in habitat at some point in the past. Sold very briefly earlier as seed-grown individuals under BE-3680, they were immediately snapped up. Now available with sustainable supply as a mixture of a huge number of clones out of microprop, we are seeing considerable variability between individuals, in what is turning out to be an extremely spectacular item.
