BE3473 N. merrilliana x campanulata
-
DESCRIPTION
The pitchers are of an unusual shape and most appear to have the yellow/green colouration typical of N. campanulata, with some having peristome teeth delicately fringed with red.
History: First introduced in Aug 2019.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is a seed-raised individual of the Legaspi form of N. merrilliana, offered earlier under BE-3117 and the male parent is a typical form of N. campanulata such as those sometimes available under BE-3044.
Source: A random selection from many different clones out of microprop.
Climate: Intermediate. It will flourish in a wide variety of temperatures and we have tested it between 32 deg. C (90 deg. F) and 12 deg. C (54 deg. F), although it may also tolerate temperatures outside this range.
