DESCRIPTION
This form of the species originates from the area around the now defunct Mamut Copper Mine in Sabah.
Formerly classified as Nepenthes fusca ‘Sabah’, the taxonomy has been recently revised and split into two morphologically different classifications. The form from Sabah is now classified as Nepenthes zakriana and the form from Sarawak is now Nepenthes dactylifera.
History: First introduced in June 2012 as N. fusca ‘Sabah’.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.
