DESCRIPTION
A collection of six named Sarracenia species and hybrids chosen for their colour and vigour. Good for an unheated greenhouse, conservatory or on a sunny windowsill for the Summer months. Sarracenia can be very easy to grow and this collection is ideal for a beginner. These plants not only produce beautiful foliage throughout the growing
season March to October, but also spectacular flowers every Spring. All six plants are semi mature 3 year old plants. All plants are sent out potted in 9cm pots. Sarracenia hybrids tend to grow faster than the species and produce more pitchers, all six plants will not need repotting until the following Spring with our com 1. Having prepared my site for the pitcher plants, which was an extra large cat litter tray (not for kittens, too large and wouldn't get out), I got the relevant compost (holds 30L), and planted all six plants (perfect fit). Eight would be a little tight. They look lovely. Have put it in a spot where the wind won't knock them all over the place, but will get sun for most of the day. Hampshire Carnivorous Plants are brilliant. The packaging was second to none. These plants weren't going anyway. The courier left the box in my porch sideway on their sides, they didn't look at the labels saying "this way up", but it didn't matter, the plants were very tightly put together. I should think you could put these babies in one of the Red Arrow Jets, do their routine, and the plants would still not have moved an inch:)
