SPU001 S.purpurea ssp.purpurea Typ, Hardy

 This Sarracenia species is very cold hardy and can be grown outside
 without any problems down to temp as low as -15c.
 Plant have been naturalized in Ireland, Switzerland
 and parts of the UK. Ideal for a peat bog garden or outside
  in a planter . These plants produce rossettes of purple veined green
 pitchers and large dark red flowers in the spring.
3 - 4 year old plants sent out potted.
