Small species from the mountains of Northern Mexico. This species produces small bright green rosettes of hairy leaves during the winter, then many large white flowers in early spring. This butterwort is best kept just damp all year by standing the plant in a tray of damp capillary matting, they can do very well on an east or west facing windosill. Avoid direct sunlight during the summer months
